I think the marker is inaccurate, you could say that it is out by 12,467 feet.

Yeah, and instead of that funny-looking golf tee marker, they should use a white star.

I think the marker is inaccurate, you could say that it is out by 12,467 feet. that's 3800 meters deep if that helps any maybe ask Robert Ballard on tax day

They did a re-enactment of LXXXIII. Fortunately though, far fewer casualties. " Taking place <almost> 100 years after the sinking of the Titanic, this disaster is "remarkably similar," McKesson said. "Titanic similarly grazed an object on her side. In her case, it was an iceberg and in her case, as the water came in, she tore multiple compartments open.."

That's the rock the Italian captain hit, but it wasn't his fault.

Getting the Costa Concordia to this island would be a real engineering feat. Besides, if a ship is a wheeled vehicle, then it's not permitted here.

if a ship is a wheeled vehicle, then it's not permitted here. no wheels, no guns, no pets, so must be in a National Park

no wheels, no guns, no pets, so must be in a National Park Actually, many wilderness areas (Ansel Adams, John Muir, Jennie Lakes, for example) have mechanization prohibitions but are not in National Parks. This puzzle, in any case, is not in any of the above. But it is in a National Park.

An update to LXXVI (76) - today is the 100th anniversary of Scott reaching the South Pole. Here is an interesting story.
