As a marathon runner I was googling and learned that there is a Wagga Wagga Trail Marathon. It had been held for 26 years, was stopped for a while and started again in August 2008. I also learned that Wagga is the largest INLAND city in New South Wales with an urban population approaching 50,000. Thus I need to show it more respect now as originally I sort of thought it was a tiny place out in the sticks and far from anything as the Crow flies (small attempt at humor since Wagga means Crow)
