Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Highest Winter Alt Acclimitization locations (and now)?

For Whitney and must be car driveable. (On the MR, a guy told me that Horseshoe Meadows was accessable with a motorcycle).

Off the top of my head (Winter):
Mammoth Mountain Inn 8900 feet.
Rock Creek SnoPark 8900 feet.
So Cal: Onyx Summit 8,441 feet.
Iffy, Virginia Lakes. 9750 feet (low snow year).

Currently (this record breaking year):
Whitney Portal (8,300 feet).
White Mountain Road? Looks clear to Sierra View Overlook. Maybe Bristlecone Visitor Center? 10093 feet.
