Hi All,
I have an opening on a permit to enter the JMT at Agnew Meadows on Aug. 30th and exit Tuolumne Meadows on Sept. 4th. My plan is to bag Ritter and Lyell on the way, and to shuttle a car up to Tuolumne and hike this one-way. If you are interested in teaming up on this shoot me a private message. We could then set up a Zoom chat to talk out more detailed planning.
For a quick overview of my experience, I have done Whitney Mountaineers (late winter/early spring ascent), Williamson west face, Russell east ridge, White Mountain SW ridge, Shasta (via Avalanche Gulch), Laurel Mt NE gulley (and dozens of other Sierra Peaks), and have done a few long distance trips as well (High Sierra Trail from Sequoia to Whitney Portal, 100 mile wilderness in Maine, and bagged Gannett Peak in Wyoming via the Glacier Trail route...over 50 miles round trip). My more recent training has included day climbing Mt. Hood via the Old Chute the first week of May and day climbing Mt. Adams via the south side climbers route the second week of July.
Would love to find someone gregarious and thoughtful, and who has a non-wreckless risk tolerance to team up with on this adventure.
Best,
Jack
