Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Wind at the summit

Hello everyone,

My friend and I are slated to day hike Mt. Whitney on June 9th, and the forecast is predicting the wind to be around 40-45 mph at 14k elevation by the time we reach the summit. Is hiking with this wind still relatively doable?
