Just back from Horseshoe Meadows......much to my surprise, the road is still closed at the last gate which is about half to three quarter mile to Cottonwood Trailhead.
There were about 30 plus cars parked at the gate.
I really don't understand this, but you are planning a visit soon, I'd call the lone Pine Visitor's Center for road conditions.
