just back from the Portal. The road is closed at the gate just below the overflow parking lot. And on Sunday, there had to be 30 cars parked along side the road, but by 7:30pm, most cars were gone.
Also, I went over to Onion Valley and the road is open all the way tp the trailhead.
And finally, the Horseshoe Meadows road was opened to the last gate which is about half a mile or so to the Cottonwood Trailhead. Not very much snow up there. Road is clear. I'll send Steve some pics and if wants, he can post them.
