We had a great trip! We hiked up to Upper Boy Scout Lake and camped out on Tuesday. Yesterday we climbed the Mountaineering Route to the summit and back down to our camp. As others have reported, the remaining snow and ice was not a problem in the fun "Final 400" which we climbed up and downclimbed on our way back. We saw others on the "walkoff route" which looked mostly dry. We hiked out today. Monday afternoon there was a lot of smoke and we talked with climbers who said they had ashes falling on their tents at Iceberg Lake. However, the smoke wasn't a problem for us the past three days. The summit views were great. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
