OP Team Dirty Boots T Joined: Jun 2020 Posts: 21 Bay Area, California	Hi all, I've never hiked Mount Whitney. I've been reading the threads daily and the one about bear cannisters caught my eye. Do we need a bear cannister for our food if we are doing only a day hike?
