Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Any new insights on next-day permits?

One of my follow-ups was to ask if the new rules cover the MR as well...I've seen conflicting posts about that. As for the rest, I heartily agree, just think there should be some kind of additional caution given re: summiting when buying a same-day-pickup day-use permit.
