Thanks for comments. Perhaps because I live in SoCal or because I recommended Whitney, I became the de facto leader of the group. The forum was immensely helpful in preparing and I read some where that the reaching the peak is optional, but getting back to the parking lot is mandatory. So had to make sure we get back to the parking lot.
I would like to Thank every one who posts here, as it helped me a lot reading thru it all. I would definitely go back up next year, and post about my experience.
