I was successful. Don't remember my first choice but I got Monday 9/3, which actually is perfect since I'm doing Whitney on 9/10. I usually do the cable every other year but I thought what the heck it's more fun than doing Clouds Rest or Granite/Kennedy in Kings Canyon as a practice hike.
