I'm gathering info for a July 4 summit bid via one of the two easy climbers routes on the East Face. It's good to know there is another option between the notch and the summit that bypasses the final 400. Mark, thanks for the informative photos! Hopefully there's a little more melt off in the next few weeks. I've found the trip reports and forums here at the Whitney Zone to be a great resource. Thanks everyone.
