You're right, hand held is the way to go. The nuances the eye gets in the viewfinder is unmatched. But I don't have a helmet cam. Now a helmet cam with a view finder...now we're talkin'.
The MR? Would love to video that if only I had a video camera that wasn't tape-based (OLD). I might do that this summer with a tiny Canon (Costco special). But might be just the Final 400 (carefully!) since the AVI files are as big as the mountain itself. And maybe next winter too...
