There is a ledge there, about half way up the cables. It is only a couple of inches high, but if you lean against the rock (note it is about 45 degrees, so not that vertical), and use the ledge, you can walk out on the slope maybe 8-10 feet.
I have taken pictures at that spot on multiple trips, makes some awesome shots. In these two pictures you can see the ledge. It starts out not very high, but increases to a good 6", so it is quite secure.
