Glad it worked out for you nicebloke. I have found over the years that as I get older the acclimatization part is more essential. 15 years ago I could just go from sea level and bag it, and 5 years ago I could get away with spending the afternoon and evening at the Portal campground. But now I need that extra full day of acclimating. It makes a huge difference.
