This thread is actually making me hungry. All very good choices! I haven't tried the taco truck yet - I will the next time I'm out there.
But for me a Sierra hike isn't complete without a meal at the Bonanza. The Chile Verde dinner is that good.
On my last trip a few weeks ago, we had breakfast at the newer place next to the Dow Villa because it was open earlier than the Alabama Hills Cafe and we needed an early start. It was pretty good.
