Campsite 4 is right next to 2, where I stayed last time. Site 2 would accommodate ALL your needs, were it available.

Tracie explored that campsite (no. 4) earlier this month while she was waiting for me to arrive, but I forget what she told me about it -- she'd have concrete information for you. I think she spends more time on WPSMB, so you might ask her there.

I see that the website says: "CLOSE TO WALK IN SITE 6, ROOM FOR TRUCK WITH CAMPER ONLY." That's unusual, but may mean that there are no tent sites in the shrubs for No. 4.

Oh, and I have pitched a tent on the drive-in portion of a site at OV, just in front of my car. Indeed, that is what I did at site 2, even though there were three very nice places to pitch in the bushes, with flat sandy areas and more privacy (I got in late and elected to pitch right next to the bear locker). Worked okay. May depend on the site.
