Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Rim Fire near Yosemite

so if I'm reading the map correctly, Hodgdon Meadows Campground is in the burn vicinity? We were there at the end of June. The whole park is dry, but nothing like the area around Hodgdon Meadows. It looked like a tinder box waiting for a spark.
