Thanks for the post!
I am planning on going up with a group of some experienced and not so experienced hikers on Memorial Day weekend. The goal is for most of the group to make it to Trail Camp and the more experienced hikers to make it to the summit.
To reach Trail Camp would crampons/ice axe or microspikes be required?
No, you will have no problems getting up to trail camp. There is some snow in the camp, but it's all pretty flat. There is a little snow on the trail on the way up, but I suspect most will be gone by then, and none of it was steep or exposed enough to make me feel nervous about putting on crampons/getting my ice axe.
