A little basic info: where is this? You know how many trails in this country go by the name "Skyline?".
Sorry Saltydog - this is the Skyline Trail in Palms Springs, which is the 'tough' part of the Cactus to Clouds hike.
Nice breakdown of the trail on your site, like the map and the landmarks. I'll be putting some of this info to the test when I take a couple of buddies up the trail for the first time on April 26th.

Please report back on how the info works out for you. I am getting over a cold, but I am tentatively planning on hiking Skyline on the 26th too, hoping to do it with a couple of first timers. What time do you plan on starting? Are you starting at Ramon Road?
