Not sure, Kent. Try logging into recreation.gov and see if there is an option to modify the application. ...I don't recall from last year that there was.

However, if you want to decrease the number of hikers, and IF you win the reservation in the lottery, you can reduce the number of hikers before you accept and pay for it. They won't let you increase the number, but that can be done when you show up to get the real permit -- if space is available, and it usually is.

The other option: Create a new application for $6, and enter the number of people you want. (If one application is processed and wins in the lottery, the others are cancelled automatically.)
