Thanks for all the details. Great that you can plan some "leisurely" days, with arrival at day's destination by noon. Great opportunity to take some "thoughtful" pictures without feeling rushed. I need to adapt this perspective. Mostly I take my pictures "on the run", and we all know that this is not the best formula for good photographs.
I use Photoshop to create panoramas. You mention stitching your photographs together. What s/w do you use for that?
Again, really remarkable photographs. Just goes to show what can be done with a single lens.
I had not noticed the focus issue in any of your pictures, but I understand the issue. I experimented with image adjustments prior to stitching, but finally decided best to do the merge prior to any adjustments. Same concept, except you were doing it in the camera, while I was doing it after the fact.
