No beer unfortunately, but they do have it at the Ranch.
At the bottom there was no phone service. A hiker was desperately searching for a way to reach her husband to let him know that she made it OK. He was going to call the Park service if he did not heard from her. Even the staff at the Ranch was unable to help her. They must communicate via radio.
