Akichow, you are correct: I had a good dose of frostbite, and it has been an uphill battle of circulation problems/loss of sensation since then. I could not emphasize more how important it is to not ignore the hands when they even begin to get cold. I do carry the chemical heaters, always, as a backup to drop in my gloves (not familiar with the design meant for the feet, though)


I will bee really curious to see what Richard P has to say about the long-term effects of his recent frostbite experience, so that I can compare.
