I think we need a new term, specifically for human adjustment to MW, which includes the environmental factors of altitude, temperature, blue grouse aggression, alpenglow mesmerization effect, vertical exposure perception, UVA/UVB exposure, ursinal nutrient competition stress, and cold water immersion/injestion reaction. In addition, the process has been observed to include socio-environmental factors of wag-bag revulsion threshold, summit fever syndrome, Mooseburger metabolic capacity, population density tolerance, permit process anxiety disorder, alpine start circadian rhythm disruption (with and without complications of jet-lag) Diamox misprescription effect and GEOR (Generalized Aesthetic Overload Response).
