Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion i'm dreaming of a white......august

i cannot say for certain - i was between trail crest and the summit when this event occurred - and it was first graupeling (?) and then snowing back there. upon returning to the lone pine side and this photo it was all melted together.
