Unfortunately we did not get the permits so will have to go and see if any no shows for Main Trail Overnight.
If not, we're going the MR way.
Unfortunately, MW permits are for the Portal trailhead and do not separate MT from MR. Same permit, same quota, regardless of route. Good luck with the walk-up, though.
