This will be my third time up the MR tomorrow. First time doing it in winter though. I am not sure you can say Im a professional by any means, but I agree with Steve that with a little research, you should be fine without a guide. I live in Orange County and would be open to the idea of doing a day trip thurs June 21st if I could hitch a ride (says your from Utah, Orange county is southern coastal Ca.)
