Thanks, all. Steve, not the meanest, but definitely a butt-kicker in terms of the non-stop "up". In comparison, the west ridge of White is ~10K, but that's over almost 10 miles.
I've always wanted to finish this ridge with snow on it, but I may have to be content with a 1/2 snow amount for now. At least I've gotten a little higher each time. I don't think I could carry enough water for an attempt without any snow up there at all.
I may give it one more go this year: we'll have to see how my schedule pans out.
