Clicking on the links, I see Wikipedia is doing their fundraiser again. I just donated, and I'd urge everyone to do the same. Here's a link

It is so refreshing to have a source like Wikipedia -- no blinking/bleeping/annoying ads, and information that really hits the nail on the head.
I like their numbers:
Google might have close to a million servers. Yahoo has something like 13,000 staff. We have 400 servers and 73 staff.
Wikipedia is the #5 site on the web and serves 454 million different people every month - with billions of page views.
Commerce is fine. Advertising is not evil. But it doesn't belong here. Not in Wikipedia.
