Thanks for all the helpful replies. @Jeremy: My mother is an eye-doctor and is familiar with the use of Diamox as it is primarily used in the treatment of acute Glaucoma. I asked her about whether she thought it was a good idea, but she said that in a lot of patients in causes flu like symptoms and makes people feel pretty lousy.
