Thanks Steve, I was worried about the rigidity of boot, or lack thereof, and how'd they'd handle toe kicking on a steep face. Seems like the weather has warmed up this week so the snow might be more slushy than icey, which will hopefully make it a non-issue. They have a goretex liner so I'm slightly less concerned about how they'll fare in snow. We'll see how it goes this weekend
